Sam Wardale is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently employed at Drax Group since August 2023. Prior to this, Sam served as a Senior Maintenance Engineer at Mitsubishi Chemical UK, and held roles including E&I Project Engineer and E&I Team Leader at NIPPON GOHSEI UK LTD. Additionally, Sam was the Engineering & Maintenance Manager at Aggregate Industries UK, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards in a 24-hour production facility. Starting a career as an Engineering Apprentice at Saint-Gobain, Sam progressed through various engineering roles, culminating in the management of electrical and mechanical teams for a float glass production line. Sam holds an HNC in Electrical Engineering from The University of Hull and multiple qualifications from HETA.
