Steve Croxton

Steve Croxton is an experienced professional in the bioenergy sector, currently serving as VP Alternative Fuels at Drax Group since April 2023, where responsibilities include identifying and securing sustainable biomass feedstocks for power plant and pellet plant operations. Previously, Steve contributed to the Supergen Bioenergy Hub as an Advisory Board Member for nearly a decade, fostering collaboration between academia and industry. Steve also served as EAG Chairperson for the Perennial Energy Crops for Greenhouse Gas Removal Demonstrator project under NERC, focusing on biomass crops' role in achieving UK net zero carbon goals. Other notable roles include Fuel Manager at Uniper and Senior Technical Consultant for both Uniper and E.ON, where expertise in bioenergy feedstock projects was applied.
