Steve Marshall

Steve Marshall is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as VP of Innovation Development at Drax Group since November 2023. Prior to this role, Steve spent over twelve years at Phillips 66, where Steve held various leadership positions including Manager of NGL Optimization and Business Development, Director of Midstream Strategy and Optimization, Director of Hydrocarbon Innovation, Director of Water Research, Senior Engineer for Water Technical Advocacy, Team Lead for Low Carbon Hydrogen, and Associate Engineer. Steve has a strong background in commercial optimization, project strategy, advanced research in renewable energy, and water management within the industry. Academic credentials include a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
