Tony Johnson

Tony Johnson is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in power generation and manufacturing sectors. Currently, as a Boiler Plant Mechanical Engineer at Drax Group since September 2018, and previously in various roles at Eggborough Power Ltd starting in May 2009, Tony has a strong focus on diagnostic and maintenance controls for power plant equipment. Tony also held multiple shift management positions at SGGUK and Saint-Gobain Glass, and was responsible for overseeing production lines during tenure at Unilever. With a foundational role as a Mechanical Engineer at Unilever and earlier mechanical fitter positions, Tony possesses a comprehensive background in mechanical maintenance and engineering. Education was completed at Selby Grammar School from 1974 to 1979.
