Matthew Gonzalez

Director Of Post-secondary Success at DREAM

Matthew Gonzalez has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Matthew began their career as a Learning Coach at Harlem RBI in 2011. Matthew then worked as an Operations Intern at Harlem Village Academies in 2012. Since 2013, Matthew has been employed at DREAM (formerly Harlem RBI) in various roles, including Associate Program Coordinator, Team Builders Senior Coaching Fellow, AmeriCorps Team Enrichment Coaching Fellow, and 8th Grade Program Coordinator/HS Access Coordinator. Matthew has also served as DreamWorks Program Manager, Senior Program Coordinator, College Access Coordinator/12th Grade Program Coordinator, and Senior Manager of College Access and Post-Secondary Success. Currently, they are the Director of Post-Secondary Success at DREAM.

Matthew Gonzalez has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Brandeis University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. In 2017-2018, they completed a Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Public Service at New York University. In 2020, they attended the Developing Leaders Program at Columbia Business School, earning a Certificate. Additionally, Matthew obtained an RTE Certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in May 2015.
