Shanice Sanchez

Shanice Sanchez currently serves as the Elementary School Principal at DREAM (formerly Harlem RBI) since July 2022. Prior to this role, Shanice was a School Principal and Principal in Residence at Ascend Public Charter Schools from July 2020 to June 2022. In 2019, Shanice participated in the Building Excellent Schools Fellowship, contributing to leadership development in high-need communities. Experience with Teach For America includes roles such as School Director and Instructional Coach, along with being a Corps Member and Campus Campaign Coordinator. Previously, Shanice held various teaching positions at Success Academy Charter Schools, advancing student achievement and teacher development. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Education Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Master of Science in Teaching from Fordham University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Education from Barnard College.
