Sohini Das

Sohini Das is a dedicated educator and researcher specializing in racial and educational justice. Currently serving as a Researcher-Organizer at NYU Metro Center since March 2020, Sohini leads research initiatives focused on equitable policies in school communities and collaborates on workshops addressing racial and educational justice. Concurrently, Sohini holds teaching positions at DREAM and works as a Lab Manager at New York University CRCDE, where leadership of research teams and development of qualitative studies on racial socialization are key responsibilities. Sohini also engages communities through political education at NYC Liberation Schools and has significant experience contributing to various educational programs and curriculum development. Sohini holds a Master of Science in Education and Quantitative Methods from The Graduate Center, CUNY, and is pursuing a PhD in Community Psychology at NYU Steinhardt.
