Deepak Jacob

Deepak Jacob has worked as a lawyer for nearly three decades, with experience in private practice, corporate law, and compliance. Deepak currently serves as Group General Counsel at Dream11.

Jacob began their career at Amit Chadha & Associates in 1995, where they worked as Junior Counsel. Deepak then moved to Kochhar & Co as Senior Associate in 2001. In 2003, they joined Reliance Communications as Legal Counsel for Broadband & Corporate Wireless.

In 2005, Jacob left Reliance Communications to join eBay as Head Legal & Compliance. Deepak remained with the company until 2008, when they left to join Star India Pvt Ltd. Deepak served as Chief Regional Counsel for India, SEA & ME at Star India from 2018 to 2022.

Jacob has been with Dream11 since March of 2022. In their current role as Group General Counsel, they are responsible for the company's legal affairs and compliance functions.

Deepak Jacob's educational career began with a BALLB from the University of Madras. Deepak then went on to work in the field of Bachelor of Arts & Law.
