Dream Chasers Records is an independent record label founded by Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill, originally launched in 2012 as an imprint under Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group before evolving into its own standalone operation. The label became a full joint venture with Jay-Z's Roc Nation in 2019, with Meek serving as president and overseeing artist development, creative direction, and business strategy — a partnership that signaled serious ambitions beyond just putting out music. After parting ways with Roc Nation in 2022, Dream Chasers continued operating independently, staying true to the ethos behind the name: building something real from nothing, rooted in Meek's come-up from North Philly.
