Michael Bronstein

Michael Bronstein is a highly accomplished academic and industry leader in artificial intelligence, currently serving as Honorary Professor at the Vienna University of Technology and Scientific Director of AI at the AITHYRA Research Institute for Biomedical Artificial Intelligence. Since January 2022, Michael holds the position of DeepMind Professor of AI at the University of Oxford, while also contributing as Chief Scientist in residence at VantAI, focusing on machine learning for molecular glue design. As a co-founder and scientific advisor at Dreamfold and other organizations, including Recursion and AKA FOODS, Michael drives advancements across various AI applications. With a strong foundation in computer science and electrical engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Michael has been instrumental in projects aimed at enhancing understanding of non-human species communication and developing technology solutions like Videocites, a cloud-based video search platform.
