Luke Odom

Luke Odom has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Luke started their career in 1999 by establishing their own company, Sparky Enterprises, specializing in computer repair and maintenance. Over the years, they expanded their services to include consulting, network installation, and website design. In 2001, Luke joined First Baptist Church of Glennville as an Audio Visual Technician and eventually became the chairman of the Audio Visual Committee. Luke was responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of networking, light, sound, and video equipment. In 2003, they worked as a Network Administrator/System Administrator at The Glennville Sentinel, where they were in charge of installing and maintaining Macintosh and Windows computers as well as the Ethernet network. Luke then joined Georgia Southern University in 2005 as a Graduate Assistant, where they frequently substituted as an instructor for various classes related to business applications, network administration, data/communications, and SAP. In 2007, they interned at the Georgia Department of Transportation during the summer. In 2010, Luke began their tenure at DreamHost, starting as a Technical Support Technician before progressing to roles such as Data Center Operations Administrator, Data Center Manager, Senior Data Center Manager, and eventually Director of IT Operations. In their most recent role, they were responsible for inventory procurement, partner relationship management, and overseeing a team of system administrators and developers in the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of hardware and software deployments. Luke Odom began their education at Georgia Southern University in 2005, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems, General. Luke completed this degree in 2008. Following their undergraduate studies, Luke Odom continued their education at Georgia Southern University and focused on Information Systems. Luke pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and successfully obtained it in 2009.
