PXT Select is a hiring assessment tool that measures how well an individual fits specific jobs in an organization by assessing their cognitive ability, behavioral traits, and interests. It provides scientifically validated assessments and actionable data to select the right people for the right job, matching people to roles based on job-specific traits most important to be successful. PXT Select assessments help companies translate job requirements into measurable cognitive and behavioral traits to find the ideal candidates with the best fit for each role. The tool helps reduce hiring bias, so organizations and people thrive 123.

To use PXT Select, a unique model of a position is first built using benchmarks in thinking ability, behavior, and motivations/interests. This model is created using current employee data, survey data, data from a library of performance models, or a combination of all three data sources. Once a model is built, candidates take a smart, adaptive assessment that measures their cognitive ability, behavioral traits, and interests. Their results are compared instantly with the model to determine how well they fit the position 12.

PXT Select uses an advanced assessment process called computerized adaptive testing. Adaptive testing pulls from hundreds of questions but only asks specific questions based on how a user answered the prior questions. This creates a quicker assessment with more precise results 1.

Please note that PXT Select is not a replacement for human judgment in hiring decisions but rather a tool that can help organizations make more informed decisions.
