Ed Custer

Ed Custer is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in solution architecture and sales engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Solution Architect at Dremio since September 2023, Ed previously worked at Tamr Inc. as a Senior Sales Engineer, where the focus was on machine learning for data cleaning and curation. Prior to that, Ed held multiple roles at Teradata, including Senior Solution Architect, leading presales activities for clients in the Defense and Intelligence sectors. Ed's early career included significant contributions at Sybase Software as a Principal Consultant and Sales Consultant, where successes included developing proprietary architectures for the US Navy and supporting critical sales activities. Ed's foundational experience also includes a role as Director of Data Warehousing at comScore, Inc., where Ed developed a company-propelling data warehouse. Ed holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Composition and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
