Sean Broeder

Sean Broeder is a highly experienced Senior Staff Engineer at Dremio since June 2020, with a robust background in software engineering spanning over three decades. Previously, Sean worked at Esgyn Corporation from July 2015 to February 2020, contributing significantly by designing and implementing features like active-active synchronous replication for transactional workloads and enhancing database recovery characteristics. Prior to that, Sean spent nearly two decades at HP, where major contributions included developing the HP Trafodion open-source extension for HBase and leading teams in creating scalable and fault-tolerant database solutions. Sean's educational qualifications include a Master’s in Software Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Mathematics from National University, alongside an MBA and a Bachelor’s in Spanish from San José State University.
