Thomas Baird has work experience from two companies, Dresner Group and Best Buy. Thomas started working at Best Buy in November 2011 as a Geek Squad Advanced Repair Agent where they provided customer service, fixed operating system issues, and sold protective services to customers. Their role ended in October 2014. In December 2013, they began working at Dresner Group as a CST II Technical Lead and was later promoted to Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer in June 2018. Thomas has worked in the latter role until the present time.
Thomas Baird has a diverse education history. Thomas first earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in System, Networking, and LAN/WAN Management/Manager from the Community College of Baltimore County in 2011. Thomas then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2014. Baird remained at UMBC to obtain a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Management Information Systems, General, although the start and end years for this degree are unknown. In 2021, they completed a Master of Science (MS) in Cloud Computing Architecture at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
In addition to their degrees, Baird holds several certifications from CompTIA, including CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Cloud Admin Professional (CCAP), CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Secure Cloud Professional (CSCP), CompTIA Network Infrastructure Professional (CNIP), and CompTIA Security+. These certifications were obtained between 2019 and 2020.
