Aiman Said

Aiman Said has a diverse work experience in both academia and industry. Aiman started their career as a Lecturer at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in 2014, where they taught data science to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Afterwards, Aiman joined the University of Nizwa, Oman in 2016 as an Assistant Professor and Head of Department. In this role, they supervised various master's projects related to data-driven marketing, student withdrawal prediction, smartphone sensor recognition, and school performance evaluation. Aiman also taught theoretical and practical aspects of data science to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Recently, Aiman joined DrFirst, Inc. in 2022 as a Business Intelligence Lead.

Aiman Said completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Information Technology from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Information Technology from the same institution from 2008 to 2009. Aiman earned their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology & Computer Sciences from Yarmouk University from 2003 to 2007. Aiman has also obtained certifications in AWS Cloud Technical Essentials and Python for Data Science, AI & Development from Coursera, with the exact dates of completion not provided.
