Charles Bedel

Charles Bedel, PharmD, RPh has an extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Charles started their career at The IN Group, INC as a Senior Consultant in 2013, where they gained expertise in managing pharmacy dictionaries, clinical rule building, and data reviews. Charles then joined UC Health in 2005 as a Pharmacist, assisting with EPIC cutover and serving as a local content expert during go-live. In 2016, they became a Senior Consultant at DrFirst, focusing on improving medication reconciliation excellence and developing software solutions for patient safety and care collaboration. Charles later transitioned to the role of Product Manager, where they specialized in PDMP, EPCS, identity proofing, and API development. Currently, Charles holds the position of Director, Product Solutions at DrFirst, leading the product strategy and solutions.

Charles Bedel obtained a PharmD degree in Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the same university from 1999 to 2005. Additionally, Charles has obtained certifications such as Autopharm Inventory and Order Management from Talyst in 2012, Alaris CQI Analyst from Carefusion in 2010, and they are a Registered Pharmacist licensed by the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy since September 2009.
