Nabeel Hamoud

Nabeel Hamoud, PhD, is a seasoned data science professional currently serving as the Director of Data Science for Patient Solutions at DrFirst, Inc. since February 2020. With a rich background in data science, Nabeel has also held positions as a Data Scientist and a Visiting Scholar at The Johns Hopkins University, contributing to machine learning and artificial intelligence research aimed at enhancing patient health outcomes. Previous roles include teaching assistance at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and roles at DrFirst focused on deep learning model development and natural language processing. Nabeel's early career included internships at Maaden and Saudi Oger Ltd., where significant contributions were made in operations research and facility management. Nabeel holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a Master’s in Engineering Management from the University of Technology Sydney, and a Bachelor’s in Engineering Geology from King AbdulAziz University.
