Chris Dotur has a diverse work experience, starting in 1993 with the United States Air Force. Chris served as a pilot, leader, and officer, commanding aircrews and instructing new pilots. Chris also served as a combat operations advisor to the Iraqi Air Force. During their time in the Air Force, they were also a C-17 instructor pilot and director of safety, investigating major accidents and creating safety programs worldwide.
In 2002, Chris started working for Home Theater Builder Magazine as a writer and program/project manager. Chris authored articles on home theater design and construction and built a private home theater room.
In 2007, Chris started their own company, Home Theater Builder, LLC, where they served as the president and CEO. The company specializes in designing, installing, and integrating home theaters and audio/video consumer electronics.
Since 2013, Chris has been the director on the board of directors for The Myositis Association, a non-profit organization focused on finding treatments for myositis diseases and providing support to patients and caregivers.
In 2015, Chris joined Delaware Resource Group as an international site lead and lead instructor pilot. Chris is responsible for training and maintaining flight currency for corporate, commercial, and military aircrew members. Chris also implements the Aircrew Training System at new sites worldwide.

Chris Dotur's education history includes a Master's Degree in Leadership and Operational Art Science from Air Command and Staff College, which was obtained in 2010. Earlier, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Theoretical and Applied Mathematics at the United States Air Force Academy between 1993 and 1997. In addition to their academic background, Chris also has several certifications. These include being a Range Safety Officer and Certified Firearm Instructor, acquired in August 2013 through NRA and Alaska State Certification. Chris is also an Electronic Systems Technician II, certified by the Custom Electronics Design & Installation Association in September 2008. Furthermore, Chris holds certifications as an Accident/Safety Board President, Mishap Investigator, Safety Program Manager, and Operational Risk Management Instructor from the United States Air Force, obtained in March 2000. Chris possesses a Commercial, Multi-engine, Instrument Pilot certification with no centerline thrust restriction, obtained from the FAA in March 1999. Additionally, Chris has a Secret Security Clearance from the United States Government dating back to 1993. Chris'smost recent certification is as a CFII Flight Instructor from the FAA, acquired in October 2014.
