Michael Moore has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Michael began their career as an F/A-18 Pilot with VMFA-251 in 2008 and continued in this role until 2011. After attending the Expeditionary Warfare School from 2011 to 2012, they joined VMFA-312 as an F/A-18 Pilot from 2012 to 2014. Michael then transitioned to Gulfstream Aerospace and served as the Research, Development, and Engineering Aviation Safety Manager from 2014 to 2016. Following this, they worked at Lockheed Martin as a Training Evaluation and Standardization SME from 2016 to 2018. Michael then joined BAE Systems, Inc. as a Flight Simulation Contract Instructor Pilot from 2018 to 2020 before moving to Marine Transport Squadron Andrews as a Citation 560 Encore Pilot-in-Command from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they are working as a 767 First Officer at Atlas Air starting from 2022. Additionally, they had a concurrent role as a Flight Simulation Contract Instructor Pilot at Delaware Resource Group from 2020 onwards.
Michael Moore attended the United States Naval Academy from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science.
