John Stults, CAE

John Stults, CAE has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. John has held various leadership roles in organizations across different industries.

Starting from their most recent role, John currently serves as the Vice President of Development at DRI. In this position, they lead the efforts to leverage educational programming and content to drive results for thought leaders and solution providers. John also oversees the design and execution of over 30 programs annually.

Prior to this, John worked at DRI as the Senior Director of Development from 2020 to 2022.

From 2010 to 2020, John worked at the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) as the Director of Customer Experience. John was responsible for fostering engagement across the ASCM community, developing and executing strategic alliances, event programming, and other initiatives to increase customer satisfaction.

Before joining ASCM, John was the Director of Sales at Live Nation in 2008-2009, where they created and sold live music marketing programs and managed event marketing and promotional partners.

From 2005 to 2007, John served as the Director of Partnership Marketing at Navy Pier, where they developed and managed sponsorship marketing programs and strategic account management for partnerships.

In the early 2000s, John worked as the Director of Partnership Marketing at Trizec Properties, Inc., where they conceptualized and managed nontraditional revenue programming for a commercial office property management company.

Prior to that, John was the Director of Marketing & Sponsorship at International Theme Park Services, Inc. from 1997 to 2000, where they designed and implemented strategic marketing programs for global leisure attractions.

John also worked as the Partnership Marketing Director at Anheuser-Busch Theme Parks in 1996-1997 and held multiple roles at Six Flags, including National Sponsorship Manager, Account Executive, and Food & Beverage Supervisor, from 1988 to 1996.

John Stults, CAE, holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they obtained in 1988. In addition, they have received the Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership in the year 2016.
