Tyson Koster has a diverse work experience in the wine and beverage industry. Tyson started their career in 2004 as the General Manager of Marketing and Promotions at Associated Amusement Co., where they directed entertainment and developed beverage programs. From 2006 to 2008, they served as a Marketing Manager at RMC Management Inc., where they designed and executed marketing initiatives and managed results analysis for a multi-unit restaurant group. In 2010, Tyson joined Hilliard Bruce Vineyards as an Assistant Winemaker, responsible for fermentation experiments, lab result analysis, and winery operations. In 2012, they worked as a Beverage Manager at DRY TOUR Bar and Gastropub, focusing on enhancing the customer experience and managing the beverage program. Finally, since 2014, Tyson has been associated with DRINKS, serving as a Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Lead, and currently as the Director of Wine Strategy.
Tyson Koster holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Jacksonville University, which they completed from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, they completed a Wine Marketing / O.I.V. Wine Program at the University of California, Davis in 2011. Tyson also holds a Bachelor's degree in Advertising from Northern Arizona University, which they earned from 2004 to 2005. In the same period, they completed an Undergraduate Certificate in Integrated Marketing Communications and Promotional Management from the same university. Lastly, Tyson obtained a WSET Level 2 certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in 2016.
