James Olmstead

James Olmstead is the Global Blueberry Breeding Director at Driscoll’s, Inc., where they direct the global blueberry cultivar development program to provide innovative cultivars that enhance the company's mission. James previously served as an Associate Professor at the University of Florida and as an Assistant Professor at the same institution, while also working as an Area Extension Educator at Washington State University. They earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Horticulture from Washington State University, followed by a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding and Genetics from Michigan State University.
