David Smith

David Smith has dedicated much of their career to the manufacturing sector, particularly through their involvement with Oro Design & Manufacturing Ltd. since its inception in 2001. They held various roles, including Fabrication/Engineering Manager from 2012 to 2023, where they oversaw production scheduling and implemented significant technological advancements such as CNC machinery and ERP systems. Currently, David is the President of the Oro Design & Mfg. Division at Drive Products, responsible for managing business operations and driving future growth. They hold a BASc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, supplemented by a certificate in Welding Supervision from the Canadian Welding Bureau.
