Jorge Primo

Jorge Primo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries.

Starting in 2011, they worked as a Financial and Tax Intern at Uría Menéndez, followed by an internship in the same field at Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Financial and Tax Consultant at both Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira and Uría Menéndez, gaining experience in calculating taxes, preparing financial statements, and providing tax advice.

In 2015, Jorge joined Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business as a Research Assistant in the Department of Strategy and also worked in Private Wealth at Santander US briefly.

Following their time in academia, Jorge joined Driven Brands, a Roark Capital Group Portfolio Company, in 2015. Jorge held various roles at Driven Brands, including M&A Analyst, M&A Manager, and Director of Real Estate Development. In these positions, they led and participated in multiple mergers and acquisitions transactions within the Automotive Aftermarket Services Industry, overseeing financial and operational diligence, and presenting investment memorandums to investment committees. Jorge also managed contracts and negotiations and played a key role in growing the company's Quick Lube vertical footprint.

Finally, in 2020, Jorge became the Vice President of Real Estate and Construction at Driven Brands Inc., where they were responsible for overseeing real estate and construction projects. In 2023, they were promoted to the position of Senior Vice President in the same department.

Jorge Primo completed their education with the following degrees: a Master in Management from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business (2014-2015) with a focus on Business and Finance, an Erasmus Exchange program in Finance from Regent's University London (2012-2013), a 5-year Bachelor's degree in Law with a major in Tax Law from the University of Valencia (2007-2013), and a 5-year degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the University of Valencia (2007-2013). Additionally, they also completed a program in "Financial International Management" from ISCTE Business School in 2011.
