Rashad Abdullah

Rashad Abdullah, CMA has a diverse work experience in accounting and finance spanning over 25 years. Rashad currently holds the position of Director, Controller at Driven Brands Inc. Prior to this, they served as the Accounting Manager at MSC Industrial Supply Co. for eight years. Rashad also worked as an Online Accounting Instructor at the University of Phoenix for a decade. Earlier in their career, Rashad held various roles at Electrolux Major Appliances, Husqvarna Group, Osprey Systems, Husqvarna, and New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Rashad'sroles during this period included Accounting Manager, Sr. FP&A Analyst, Business Controller, Accounting Supervisor, Senior Accountant, Staff Accountant, and Internal Audit.

Rashad Abdullah, CMA has a Doctor of Business Administration (D.B.A.) degree with a focus on Finance from Walden University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2012. Rashad also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Accounting from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained the IMA Data Analytics & Visualization Fundamentals Certificate from the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in 2021. Rashad Abdullah is currently in the process of obtaining the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.
