Bob McLendon has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Bob began their career in 1993 with Wellfleet, Bay Networks, Nortel, and Avaya, where they held the position of National Account Manager until 2012. During this time, they also served as the Area Sales Director for Data Center and Network Solutions in the Southeast region. In 2012, they joined Layer 3 Communications as the Bibb County Schools Account Manager until 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Check Point Software Technologies as an Account Manager. In 2017, Bob became the Chief Operating Officer at Title 9 Software, focusing on providing information and resources for female collegiate athletes. Finally, in 2018, they joined Driven Technologies as an SAAS, IAAS, Cloud, Network, and Security Evangelist and Customer Advocate, as well as a Technology Evangelist and Driven Architecture Advocate.

Bob McLendon attended Georgia State University from 1976 to 1981, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Their field of study was focused on Accounting and Finance.
