Michael Koogler has worked in the transportation industry since 1994. Michael started as a Contract Technical Writer at Norand Inc., where they worked with engineers to rewrite technical manuals. In 1995, they moved to Rockwell Collins as an Online Learning Developer. In 2001, they became a Senior Recruiter at Heartland Express, Inc. In 2013, they worked as a Capacity Development Manager at CRST. In 2014, they were the Director of Recruiting at Florilli Transportation, LLC, where they focused on developing a successful recruiting department. In 2015, they became self-employed as a Driver Recruiter for MK Recruiting. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Recruiting Manager at DriverReach. In addition to their work experience, they are also a published author, having released their first novel in 2012, entitled "Hade's Gambit," followed by "The Rise of Cain" in 2013 and "Sadistic Shorts," a short horror story compilation where they have two stories appearing. Michael also has an appearance in the April 2015 release of the horror anthology, "Never Fear" and their newest novel, "Antivirus" was released in April of 2015. The fantasy epic "Convergence" is due out in June of 2015.
Michael Koogler attended Belle Plaine High School from 1981 to 1984, graduating in 1984. Michael then attended Iowa State University from 1984 to 1985, studying English Language and Literature, General.
