Ian Yates has over three decades of diverse experience in technical sales, project management, and engineering. Since September 2001, Ian has been with DriveWorks Ltd in a Technical Sales & Marketing role, contributing to product definition, technical content, and sales collateral, while also authoring 'The Little Book of Rules' for DriveWorksXpress and DriveWorks. Prior to this, Ian served as a Project Manager at Hansen Group from April 1990 to September 2001, coordinating with architects and construction managers to ensure timely delivery of fenestration and structural glazing solutions. Ian began a technical engineering apprenticeship at Hollingsworth Inc. from June 1986 to April 1990, gaining comprehensive skills in machining, fabrication, and technical design. Education includes a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical and Production Engineering from The University of Bolton, complemented by earlier studies at Canon Slade.
