Jim Scott

Jim Scott is a leading authority in Offshore Oil and Gas Facility Cost Estimating and Benchmarking, currently holding the position of Cost Estimating and Benchmarking at DRL Engineering LLC since August 2014. Prior to this role, Jim served as the Cost and Planning Team Lead for the Asia Pacific Region at Shell Oil from May 2008 to August 2014. Earlier experiences at Shell from July 1991 to April 2008 include roles as the Deepwater Cost Estimating and Benchmarking Lead, Project Management Consultant, and Principal Cost Engineer for the Brent Redevelopment project. Jim holds a BA in Economics Honours from Herriot Watt University Edinburgh, earned between 1972 and 1976.
