Kyle Brown, P.E. has extensive work experience in various engineering and leadership roles. Kyle started their career in the United States Air Force, where they served from 1995 to 2007. During their time in the Air Force, they held positions such as Executive Officer & Chief, Basing and Requirements, and Air Force Civil Engineer / Program Manager / Project Manager. Kyle worked on projects in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, including the establishment of the MQ-1 Predator aircraft in Iraq.

In 2008, Kyle joined DRMP as a Federal Project Manager / Brevard Office Leader. In this role, they managed staff and projects for federal, state, county, and city entities within Brevard County and nationwide. Their responsibilities included overseeing projects from concept to completion, client and subconsultant coordination, planning, design, permitting, construction administration, site inspections, and certification.

Additionally, Kyle held several high-level positions in the United States Air Force from 2008 to 2015. These roles included Commander, 45th Civil Engineer Squadron, where they led a team of over 650 engineering professionals responsible for the construction, maintenance, and protection of more than $10 billion in real property assets. Kyle also served as Commander, 386th Civil Engineer Squadron in Kuwait and as Executive Officer, Directorate of Programs, overseeing the programming of multi-billion dollar five-year programs for the Secretary of the Air Force.

Kyle Brown, P.E. obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Arkansas, which they completed in 2006. Subsequently, they furthered their education by earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology in 2008.
