Matthew Stygles

Matthew Stygles, PE, currently serves as a Senior Traffic Design Project Manager at DRMP since October 2025. Previously, Matthew held the position of Senior Project Manager at VHB from February 2017 to October 2025, where responsibilities included leading the traffic design team, managing client relationships, and directing QA/QC for plan production. Earlier in his career at VHB, Matthew worked as a Transportation Engineer, focusing on the design of traffic signals and supporting traffic operations. Before that, as a Civil Engineer at LJB Inc. from June 2013 to February 2017, Matthew designed traffic signals and managed traffic data collection services. Matthew began his engineering career as an intern at NASA Glenn Research Center, contributing to design and planning for infrastructure projects. Matthew earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of South Carolina from 2009 to 2013.
