Randy Tompkins, PSM, PLS, PS, has extensive experience in the field of surveying and geomatics. Currently serving as Past President, President, and 1st Vice President of the SAME JAX Post since June 2023, Randy has demonstrated leadership within the Society of American Military Engineers. As Federal Survey Manager at DRMP, Inc. since May 2017, Randy manages federal survey projects. Additionally, from August 2016 to February 2023, Randy held the position of Director on the Board of Directors for the Florida Surveying and Mapping Society, advocating for NE Florida Surveyors. Prior experience includes serving as Project Manager at Degrove Surveyors, Inc. for 18 years, overseeing significant boundary and topographic surveys. Educationally, Randy holds a Bachelor of Science in Geomatics from the University of Florida and an Associate of Arts from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
