Mark Egan

Mark Egan is the current advisor at Droisys. Mark was previously the CIO at VMware from July 2009 to December 2012. Before that, they were a Senior Lecturer at Haas School of Business from January 2008 to July 2009 where they developed and taught a course on how to increase business value through technology innovation. Mark has also been a partner at StrataFusion and responsible for the security and technology transformation businesses. Mark was also the CIO at Symantec Corporation from November 1999 to March 2006 and CIO/Venture Partner at Walden International Investment from June 1998 to November 1999. Before that, they were the CIO at Sequel, Inc. from January 1997 to June 1998.

Mark Egan has an MBA in Finance/International Business from the University of San Diego and a BS in Computer Science from PennWest Clarion.
