Clayton Earney has a diverse work experience in the drone and pest control industries. Clayton began their career as a Sales Surveyor at Rentokil Pest Control United Kingdom, where they consistently achieved top sales performance and received recognition for their sales achievements. After that, they became the Sales Manager for South Wales, overseeing the sales team and implementing sales strategies. Following this role, they transitioned to become a Business Consultant, developing pest solutions for the food and pharmaceutical industries in South Wales and the South West area. In 2009, Clayton joined Mitie as a National Business Development Executive, focusing on pest solutions for the rail sector and expanding into other industries. Clayton then took on the role of Drone Development Manager, leading the development of drone services. Additionally, they became the Regional Sales Manager, responsible for overseeing and developing the sales team across the South and West of the UK. In 2018, Clayton joined Drone Evolution as the Operations Director, where they helped grow the business, expanded services, and secured national contracts. Clayton also designed and patented tethered drone technology. Currently, Clayton is the Sales Director at Drone Evolution.

Clayton Earney attended Cowbridge School from 1980 to 1989. During this time, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. However, from 1984 to 1990, they attended Cowbridge Comprehensive School in South Wales, where they focused on Maths, Physics, and Chemistry and obtained an A-Level qualification.

In addition to their formal education, Clayton Earney obtained several certifications. In May 2016, they earned their PfCO certification from RUSTA UAS. In February 2019, they obtained the Construction Skills Certification Scheme from NPORS. Lastly, in May 2020, Clayton received IOSH certification from HSQE Ltd.
