Gruff Dodd, ACA

Gruff Dodd, ACA, has accumulated a significant amount of work experience throughout their career. Starting in 1988, they served as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte for seven years. Following that, they held the position of Financial Director at Buy As You View from 1995 to 2007, and then at Vansdirect from 2007 to 2009.

In 2009, Dodd took on the role of Finance & Operations Director at UES Energy, where they remained until 2016. Gruff then joined Inprova Energy as an Operations & Projects Director from 2016 to 2017.

Moving forward, Dodd became a self-employed Finance Consultant at Boncath LLP in 2017, and also served as a Non-Executive Director (NED) Finance Director at X4 Software (Profitsourcery.co.uk) from 2017 to 2020.

Continuing their career in 2018, Dodd became the Financial Director at Drone Evolution. In 2019, they took on the role of NED Finance Director at Rescape Innovation Ltd.

Currently, in 2022, Dodd serves as the Interim CFO at Credas.

Gruff Dodd, ACA, began their education at Ysgol Gyfun Ystalyfera, where they completed their A Levels and O Levels. Afterwards, they attended the University of Southampton from 1983 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Geology. Gruff then went on to study at Camborne School of Mines from 1986 to 1987, obtaining a Master's degree (MSc) in Mining Geology. In 1990, they obtained their Chartered Accountant certification from the ICAEW.
