Andrew Sapp's work experience includes a role as a Flight Instructor at Hillsboro Aero Academy starting in October 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Firefighter/Driver Operator in the US Air Force Reserve from January 2017. In March 2018, they became a Contract Operator at DroneBase. Before that, they served as a Firefighter/Driver Operator in the United States Air Force from July 2013 to December 2016, specializing in airport crash fire rescue, residential fire protection, and coastal water rescue. Andrew also worked as a Sales Representative at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. from August 2012 to June 2013, and as an Interpretive Ranger at Lake Mead National Recreation from June 2012 to August 2012.

Andrew Sapp has a diverse education history. In 2009, they enrolled at Laughlin High School and completed their general studies there in 2013. Following high school, they attended Allan Hancock College from 2015 to 2016, where they pursued general studies.

In addition to their formal education, Andrew obtained several certifications. In February 2018, they acquired the Part 107 remote pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration. Later, in June 2018, they earned the Commercial Pilot Helicopter certification, also from the Federal Aviation Administration.
