David Knopf

FAA Commercial UAV Pilot at Zeitview

David Knopf started their work experience in 2012 at Starbucks, where they worked as a Food and Beverage Specialist. David created customer connections, promoted prepared foods, and trained new employees. In 2014, they became a Department Manager at Camp Young Judaea, where they designed an organizational structure, managed staff and participants, and improved skills and services through regular check-ins. In 2019, they joined the Israel Defense Forces as a Combat Soldier in the Combat Engineer Corps, where they organized an English-speaking team, improved technical skills, and operated tactfully in high-stakes operations. In 2022, they worked at CourseCareers as a student and later joined DroneBase as an FAA Commercial UAV Pilot.

David Knopf attended the University of Maryland from 2015 to 2019, where they studied Political Science. David also attended Gann Academy from 2011 to 2015. In 2022, they completed a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Alliance at the Vida Asana School of Yoga. In addition to their education, they obtained a Part 107 Commercial UAV License from the Federal Aviation Administration in October 2022, and a 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training certification from Yoga Alliance in May 2022.
