Director Latam - Wind Solar Transmission At Dronebase (usa) at Zeitview

Marco Olivetti has extensive work experience in the energy transmission and renewable energy industry. MARCO is currently serving as the Director Latam - Wind Solar Transmission at DroneBase, a North American and global leader in aerial inspection with artificial intelligence in the energy, industries, and properties sectors. In this role, Marco is responsible for overseeing aerial inspections for more than 59GW of wind and solar energy projects, as well as transmission and distribution projects.

Prior to their current position, Marco worked as the Senior Director of Projects & Operations at Moiecre, where they led projects in solar PV, power transmission, green hydrogen, and offshore wind in Brazil and the Middle East. MARCO also served as the Director of Commissioning and O&M at Sterlite Power in Brazil, where they focused on state-of-the-art solutions and management in energy transmission projects.

Before that, Marco held various positions at companies such as Engineering & Technology Services Co. (Taqnia Services) and Global Energy Group - GE Partner. At these companies, they were involved in solar and transmission projects in Saudi Arabia and served as the Energy Director and BD Director, responsible for business development, engineering, procurement, commissioning, and O&M for transmission and solar PV projects.

Marco's earlier experience includes roles at Transmission Consortium (Cobra, Elecnor, Isolux, Abengoa) and in the industrial sector at Termolite and Coca-Cola. In these roles, they focused on engineering and project management for transmission lines, substations, and power generation projects.

Marco Olivetti's education history begins with their graduation from CEFET-RJ in 1988, where they obtained a degree in Electrical Technician. MARCO continued their education at Universidade Gama Filho from 1989 to 1994, completing a degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1995, Marco pursued a Post Graduation in Total Quality Management at JUSE/IME, which they completed in 1996. MARCO further expanded their educational background by earning an MBA in Business Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2004 to 2005. Finally, Marco obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Ocean (Offshore Power) Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro between 2013 and 2014.
