Melissa Karner

Melissa Karner has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy industry. Melissa is currently working as an Account Executive, Wind at DroneBase since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at CREADIS Inc. from August 2019 to March 2022 as a Renewable Energy Advocate - North America, where they provided specialized engineering consulting services for complex engineering projects in the North American Wind Industry. From June 2019 to June 2020, Melissa worked as a Coach at NW Corporate Yoga. Melissa also worked at Vaisala as a Sales Manager, Americas Region from October 2016 to June 2019. Melissa's previous experience includes roles at NRG Energy as a Senior Energy Consultant from October 2014 to January 2016, and as an Energy Consultant from April 2014 to October 2014. Melissa began their career at Dominion as an Energy Consultant from January 2011 to April 2014.

Melissa Karner completed their high school education at Dundee High School from 2001 to 2005, obtaining their High School Degree. Melissa then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at the University of Michigan from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Melissa Karner has also obtained several certifications. In September 2019, they completed the "Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself" certification from LinkedIn. In March 2019, they obtained a Yoga Instructor Certification - Level I from Yoga Alliance. In August 2018, Melissa received "The Mindset of Leadership" certification from Introspect International LLC. Melissa also holds an Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification from the American Heart Association, which they obtained in March 2019.
