Sam Brockmeyer

Sam Brockmeyer currently serves as the Director of Operations - Global Solar at Zeitview (formerly DroneBase) since August 2023, following a tenure as Operations Manager. Prior experience includes roles at Heliolytics from April 2019 to September 2023, where responsibilities included Operations Manager, Field Operations Coordinator, and Field Data Specialist. Sam also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto, contributing to courses on Climate Change Science & Modelling and Climate Change & Human Health in 2019. A background in wildfire management includes serving as a Project Fire Fighter with the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, and as a Unit Crew Leader with the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations from 2012 to 2017. Sam holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience & Mental Health from Carleton University.
