Scott Duffin

Scott Duffin has extensive work experience in the aerospace and drone technology industry. Scott is currently the Director of Sales - Telecom Enterprise Solutions at DroneBase. Prior to this, Scott worked at Verizon as the Director of Sales & Client UAS Strategy, Robotics Business Technology, where they built enterprise-grade UAS solutions for various industry verticals and served as a trusted advisor to domestic enterprise accounts and Verizon's largest clients. Scott also worked at Eagle Drones, LLC as a UAS Cellular Tower & Vertical Infrastructure Inspection Pilot, specializing in delivering professional services using UAVs for inspection, modeling, survey, audit, and mapping. Scott was responsible for developing markets across multiple industries and promoting the use of drones for efficiency and safety. Scott's earlier experience includes roles as a Partner at Ascend Aero, where they managed sales operations for aerospace technology, logistics, and software startups, and as the Director of Sales at Thales Avionics and TurboJet Partners Inc. Scott also worked as a Sr. Sales Manager at Rockwell Collins, establishing their Air Transport Systems office in Houston and later overseeing sales growth in LATAM, Asia, and North America. Scott began their career at AAR Corp as a Sr. Sales Representative, handling the sales of airframe material, landing gear services, and rotable component repairs.

Scott Duffin's education history begins in 1990 when they enrolled at Indiana University Bloomington. Scott studied Economics and successfully completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in 1994. After a gap of several years, they pursued further education and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Nova Southeastern University between 2003 and 2005.

In 2018, Scott Duffin enrolled at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Unmanned Systems. Scott completed this program in 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Scott Duffin has obtained several certifications. In September 2017, they earned their Part 107 Remote Pilot (sUAS Rating) certification from the Federal Aviation Administration. In August 2019, they obtained the FEMA IS-100.C – ICS 100 Incident Command System Certification from FEMA. In December 2019, they acquired the Trusted Operator Program (TOP) Level 3 Certified sUAS Pilot certification from AUVSI.
