William Gilliland

William Gilliland is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the aviation and marketing sectors. Currently serving as the Marketing Manager at Aero Velocity since May 2024, William also contributes as a Commercial Drone Pilot at DroneBase since July 2020. Previously, William held various roles at Workhorse, including Business Development Manager and UAV Test Pilot, and was a Drone Pilot and Sales Manager at Real 3D Space from April 2020 to June 2023. Additional experience includes working as an Insurance Agent at Shelter Insurance Companies and an Operations Supervisor at DHL. William holds a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology from the University of Cincinnati and has aviation training from Sporty’s Flight Academy.
