Neil Halelamien

Neil Halelamien has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Neil currently works at DroneDeploy as the Lead Software Engineer since August 2023. Before that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at the same company starting from December 2022. Prior to joining DroneDeploy, Neil worked at System1, where they played a crucial role in the company's growth and development as a Senior Software Engineer. Neil Halelamien completed their education with a B.S. degree in Computer Science (with honors) and Cognitive Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2004. Neil then pursued a PhD in Computation & Neural Systems at Caltech from 2004 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications including Triplebyte Certified DevOps Engineer and Triplebyte Certified Generalist Software Engineer from Triplebyte, Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera, and Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2020.
