Tarik A. is a seasoned professional in software engineering and robotics, currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at DroneDeploy since March 2022. Previously, Tarik co-founded Chippy and held senior software engineering roles at Countdown Supermarkets and ClearPoint. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Southern Cross Health Society and leading the implementation of the McDonald mobile ordering platform while at Plexure. Tarik's career began with various engineering positions, including Software Engineer and Database Developer at CARMA and The University of Auckland. Tarik holds a Master's Degree and a Postgraduate Degree in Software Engineering from the University of Otago, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from The University of Auckland.
