Thomas Marsh is a highly experienced technology leader with a focus on software engineering and IoT solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at DroneDeploy since August 2021, Thomas manages multiple software engineering teams. As the CTO and Founder of Marshbot, Thomas is involved in prototyping and designing embedded software projects, including those related to IoT, drones, and robotics. Previous roles include Principal IoT Engineer at Apprentice Health, where Thomas designed a real-time location system for medical clinics and developed custom embedded firmware. As CTO at Vibe Vans and Apollo Voice, Thomas built IoT platforms and led the development of automotive-focused intelligent assistants. Thomas's experience spans over two decades, including engineering management and software development roles at Thetus Corporation, Immersive Media Company, and Vantum/Vivity. Thomas holds a Master's Degree in Computational Linguistics from the University of Washington and a BS in Liberal Studies from Portland State University.
