Adam Ismail

Adam Ismail has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Adam is currently working as an iOS Engineer at DroneSense, Inc. starting from 2022. Prior to this, they worked at TransLoc as a Senior iOS Developer from 2019 to 2022. In this role, they were responsible for developing and maintaining TransLoc iOS mobile apps and implementing an Innovation Program.

Before joining TransLoc, Adam worked at Citrix in various roles. Adam served as a MacOS Developer from 2018 to 2019, where they developed and maintained Citrix Files for Mac. Adam also worked as an iOS Developer from 2016 to 2018, where they utilized their skills in user experience and software development to create prototypes from ideas. Additionally, they served as a Citrix Startup Accelerator Mentor and Coach from 2016 to 2018 and as a Founder of Citrix Castr from 2014 to 2016, where they worked on research, development, and validation of prototypes. Adam also had the opportunity to participate in the Citrix Startup Accelerator Innovators Program and worked as a Cloud Engineer and Production Support Engineer earlier during their tenure at Citrix.

Prior to Citrix, Adam worked at the Town of Cary as a Windows and Citrix Systems Admin from 2006 to 2013, where they managed and integrated the Citrix and VMWare environments. Adam also worked as a Tech Support Specialist from 2006 to 2009, handling trouble calls and managing hardware purchases.

Before joining the technology industry, Adam worked as a Creative Director at The Universal Project from 2002 to 2012, where they were responsible for creative direction. Adam also worked as a Contracted Print and Web Designer at Golden Pine Ventures from 2007 to 2010, creating brand identities and designing websites. Adam had similar roles as a Contracted Print and Web Designer at Qualyst, Inc. from 2006 to 2007 and as a Contracted Web Designer at MedNetics from 2002 to 2003.

Adam's career started as an intern at iBiomatics of SAS from 2001 to 2002, where they created and maintained websites and performed various tasks related to web design. Adam also worked as an intern at SAS from 2000 to 2001, where they tested software and designed internal websites.

Adam Ismail is self-educated and has not attended any formal schools or pursued a specific degree or field of study.
