Jorge Raven

Jorge Raven is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in FPGA engineering, robotics, and automation. Currently serving as an FPGA Engineer at DroneShield, Jorge has previously worked as an FPGA Engineer at Robin Radar Systems and held positions including Lead FPGA Engineer and FPGA Engineer at ALTEN Nederland. Jorge's background includes a role as a Scientific Researcher for The Portwings Project, focusing on modeling and simulation frameworks for UAVs, and experience as a Robotics & Automation Engineer at Pentas Moulding B.V., where automation and industrial robot programming were key responsibilities. Prior roles also include research and development internship at Riwo Engineering B.V. and a position at DEFENSYA in electronic development. Jorge holds a Master’s degree in Systems & Control from the University of Twente and has a strong educational foundation in electronic engineering from both Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and IES Margarita Salas.
