Red McClintock

Director at DroneShield

Red McClintock has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Currently, they serve as the Director at DroneShield (ASX:DRO) starting from December 2021. Prior to this, they were the Sales Director at the same company from January to December 2021.

Before joining DroneShield, Red worked at BAE Systems as a GXP Account Manager for the ANZ Region from September 2019 to January 2021.

From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Business Development Manager at BAE Systems Australia.

Red has also served in the Royal Australian Navy for a significant part of their career. Red held positions such as Naval Officer where they served from 1994 to 2016, Staff Officer - Systems at SEA 5000, Capability Development Group from 2014 to 2015, WEEO - HMAS Parramatta where they supervised 32 sailors and officers from 2012 to 2014, and DWEEO - HMAS STUART from 2006 to 2007.

Additionally, they worked as a Project Manager - Evolved Seasparrow Missile (ESSM) at Defence Materiel Organisation from 2011 to 2012 and as a Trials Manager - Maritime at Australian Defence Test and Evaluation Office from 2007 to 2011.

Red McClintock completed their education at two institutions and obtained additional certification. From 1994 to 1997, they studied at the Australian Defence Force Academy, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree. Then, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Masters of Engineering at The Australian National University. In 2015, Red obtained the certification of Chartered Professional Engineer from Engineers Australia.
