Heather Rollins has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Heather'smost recent position was at DroneUp, where they served as the Manager of Information Compliance. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing a security program to meet the standards of the NIST 800-53 v4 at the Moderate level. Prior to their role at DroneUp, Heather worked at Web Teks as the Product Analysis Manager, leading a team of business analysts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality web apps and websites for clients. Heather also held the position of Quality and Configuration Analyst at Web Teks, where they planned and tested websites and software products to ensure their accuracy and functionality. Before that, Heather worked as the Technology Coordinator at St. John's Episcopal Church, where they managed the church's social media presence, developed web pages, and provided IT support. Heather also gained experience as an IT Consultant at Pinpoint IT Services and as a Senior Software Engineer at Harris IT Services, where they supported proposal efforts and streamlined manual processes. Heather Rollins completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics/Computer Science at Virginia Tech from 1989 to 1993. Heather then pursued further education and earned a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences from the University of West Florida from 2016 to 2020. Heather also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Epidemiology from the University of Missouri-Columbia between 2020 and 2021. Additionally, they briefly attended the Strome College of Business in 2006 and the Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business in 2005, both for an MBA degree, although it is unclear whether they completed these programs. Heather Rollins also briefly studied Engineering Management at The George Washington University from 1996 to 1997.
